Jason is the driver, travel adviser, mechanic, clothes washer, awesome husband (just ask him) and Dad to the Beer family while they travel around Australia.
What do you like the most about camping / caravanning?
Getting out there and not travelling 3 hours to and from work everyday!
What is your favourite camping item?
Our Jayco Expanda Outback 18.57-9. Better than our tents and our previous Jayco Outback Swan. Much easier setting up and packing up.

What camping destinations have you been to?
We have done Tasmania, High Country, Kimblery, Cape York, central Australia, Gulf country, Coral Coast, Gippsland, Kakadu, Central NSW and Central Queensland.
We still have Simpson desert, NSW north coast and flinders ranges to tick off.
Other camping items that you take with you camping?
1) a good comfy chair
2) plenty of cold beer for the 5pm happy hour that usually starts at midday
What is your favourite camp spot and why?
mmmm, hard one. Anywhere that is sunny, near a swimming spot, can catch fish and covered in grass sounds good to me.
Favourite camping meal?
Slow cooked roast lamb on the weber 200.

What is the best thing about camping with your family?
Spending time with them compared to the limited time when I would get home from work for the “crazy” hour during dinner and before bedtime. I couldn’t think of anything better in the world to do than go camping and caravanning with the family.
